Mr. Maguire has vast experience in litigating claims involving wage violations and discrimination on behalf of employees in both federal and state court. Through Mr. Maguire’s representation, clients have achieved favorable results both in and out of court obtaining settlements or judgments that they deserve. Mr. Maguire has additionally served as collective and class action counsel in cases involving claims for failure to pay minimum wage and overtime in multiple industries. Mr. Maguire’s extensive experience in employment law before joining Stevenson Marino LLP involved 6 years of practice at a plaintiffs’ rights law firm specializing in wage and hour litigation and discrimination, at which he served as Senior Counsel. Prior to his employment law practice, Mr. Maguire practiced bankruptcy law for 5 years including serving as Managing Attorney in the New York office of a large consumer protection firm helping individuals in distressed situations protect their assets through Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy filings and foreclosure defense.
Mr. Maguire obtained his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2008 and received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a minor in government and international relations from Clark University in 2004.
